ERASMUS Program

ERASMUS program is devoted to higher education allowing students to study all over Europe.

ERASMUS program allows students to study in Europe for a period from three to twelve months and thus obtain a degree with the value added of course work abroad. Agreements signed between universities guarantee academic recognition of the studies followed abroad.

This program, that was made famous and popular after the success ofthe film L'Auberge Espagnole (PotLuck) by Cédric Klapich, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2007.

Since its creation, Erasmus has had almost two million youngEuropeans and amongst them 217,000 French people travel.

Spain, France and united-Kingdom are the favoured destinations for young Europeans. In 2009-2010, France welcomed 213 266 young Erasmus students from all the European countries.

Students are unanimous: the Erasmus experience enriches, opens the mind,forges a sense of citizenship, and offers tremendous cultural and linguisticexperiences. Not to forget the definite plus the Erasmus label gives on a CV. 60% of Erasmus students reckon that their experience in Europe was a major advantage in their being hiredaccording to a recent study for the European Commission.

ISAE-SUPAERO has taken part in the ERASMUS program since it was created in 1987.
